These are Redskin and Mohawk Bell peppers that are supposed to only get about 8 to 10 inches high and bear full size fruits.

These are doing the best out of the lettuce. The sponges appear to be doing the worst with the peat doing the best. The peat isn't as sturdy as the rockwool however and they are both growing about the same.

All the lettuce is a little wilted at the moment because we just had some really hot weather, but they all appear to be perking up again. The hood is up a hole on this one too.

These are doing a little better than the ones on liquid nutes however i dont think the nutes are the problem because the ones in the medium experiment are on liquid and doing better than all the others.

These are doing quite well and it looks like the bigger one might have a few blooms on it. We haven't pruned it yet, since we weren't sure where to prune it. The other one is doing a good job catching up since it is about 2 weeks behind.

We had to raise the hood a notch on this one.

The chives are doing well and the thyme is really going crazy. The basil is finally catching up since we had to replace the pod.

These are getting their true leaves and are going to thinned tomorrow probably. The other pod germinated and then rotted before doing anything, so we planted another pod.

The marigolds sprouted yesterday and the one is growing like a weed. The dianthus just sprouted earlier today.

These also sprouted yesterday, which was a day earlier than the AG seed kits. These seem to be growing better than the seed kits so far and I think the sponges and the rockwool are doing better than the peat as of right now.

Everything but the dill and the basil has sprouted and the dill looks like it might be started to germinate. I called customer service today about the basil and they are sending me a new pod, since this one hasn't sprouted yet. The only thing really visible for the camera is still just the thyme and the oregano.

These just sprouted today and they got moved to their own garden since it arrived today. They weren't supposed to come up until 10 - 21 days, so 7 days isn't too bad. Since they were moved to a new garden they were started on Liquid Earth. they got 1.8 ml of Grow and 6.1 ml of Vigor.

The seeds are still stuck on top of the leaves but they have grown a little bit more and the roots are getting longer. Soon we will have to thin out 3 of the seedlings.

Definitely a lot of growth in one day and the root is almost down into the water.

Planted another garden with our own Mixed Romaine seeds. We used 3 different kinds of growing medium for this experiment: Rockwool, the Aerogarden peat pods, and the older Aerogarden grow sponges. This garden got 6.2 ml of Grow.

Planted 2 mixed romaine kits, one with Aerogarden tablet nutrients and the other with Liquid Earth liquid nutrients. Also planted an Edible Flowers kit. Both the flowers and the one lettuce received 6.2 ml of Grow.

The stock is still having troubles getting its roots anchored and everytime i try to take the dome off of it it falls over. There is a second stock sprout germinating but it has looking the same for several days. The petunia finally appears to be picking up speed, however, it appears to be having a bit of the same problem as the stock with some of its roots. I did a water change and gave it 3.8 ml of Liquid Earth Grow tonight.

The tomatoes started germinating yesterday and have shot up like crazy today and tripling itself from this morning to this evening. The second pod is further behind, it just started germinating today. The peppers that are sharing the garden with the tomatoes haven't done anything yet, but they aren't expected to make an appearance until 10 to 21 days.

The thyme is really going nuts and the oregano is picking up as well. The chives have begun to germinate but can't get a picture of them yet. Nothing else has done anything yet. The mint and the basil don't even look like there are seeds in the pods.

The thyme sprouted yesterday but was too hard to see to photograph, but has been growing like crazy. The oregano also sprouted yesterday but is still a little too hard to see. The basil should be coming up anytime now hopefully as should a few of the others.

First sprout from the herb kit we planted on 4-1-09. The thyme has a few sprouts in it but i couldn't get a picture yet since they are so small. Some of the other herbs should be sprouting anytime now, since the thyme was 2 days early. Hopefully everything sprouts ok since i think this was an older kit.
